Views from the condo:
Today we all piled into the Pilot and drove into Gunnison. Little did we know, we'd get stuck in a cattle crossing, complete with cowboys, on the way there.
Once we finally made it to Gunnison, we went to the grocery store to pick up some stuff, including some magic erasers so we could clean up the crayon off the walls that the girls had put there. Then we cruised around the like 4 blocks of town looking for a place to have lunch. We ended up eating at Mario's, which was a great choice. The place filled up quickly after us, including some highway patrol officers. I had a sandwich & salad and everyone else had pizza. Katie talked about the pizza all week she thought it was so good!

i think this might be the ONLY pic of all of us from the trip.

some uncle love

Gunnison.
On the way home, I made Dave pull over a few times so I could try to capture the beauty of the river that followed the road.
We got home in time to put L down for her nap. Sara isn't taking naps anymore so we tried to get her to play quietly while L was sleeping.
Before dinner, right at sunset, we went into Crested Butte to walk around but it was SO COLD that we only walked a couple blocks before turning around and coming back to the car. My hands were SO cold!! We did manage to take some pics first though (of course)!
Here's the girls wearing some of the flower clips that Katie & I made & we're selling to raise money towards our adoptions. Please contact us if you'd like to buy some.
