Wednesday, 8/27/08 playgroup

This morning, we went to playgroup at the Carlucci's and there was an excellent turnout. There was one new gal and it was fun to meet her and get to know a little about her. I always enjoy playgroup b/c I get a little social time and L does too, plus the time flies and I don't feel like I'm trying to entertain her the whole time.

Since D was at class tonight, we did a few errands before coming home and going on a walk to kill some more time. It was nice out although of course the sun came out again after I left the house without a visor. Plus, I realized that it's a lot more work to do our walk when I'm the one pushing the stroller. I must have really burned some calories by the time I came back almost an hour later.

Today, L kissed my cheek for the first time. She also initiated a nose rub for the first time...normally, I'm the one who rubs my nose with hers. She gave me lots of hugs as well.

I was itching my legs today and had to pull up my pants a little to do so. L crawls up to me and lifts up my pants and itches my legs. It was really funny but it made me realize that I must itch my legs a lot if she's picked up on it!
