Just a quick update, we didn't get the house. They had four offers, two at full list price & one over list price (plus ours & we couldn't do more than we did). So we'll just keep looking but it took us 10 months to find that place and it could easily take at least that to find something again.

6/25/09...offer on a house...ahhhhh!!!
Well today we put an offer in on a house, but we're not putting much stock in getting ours accepted since there are two other offers and we can't afford to offer full list price w/o emptying our bank account and with the economy the way it is and having to spend $28K on adopting our baby, it would be a big stretch even at our offer price, so we didn't think it was wise to offer more than what we did. We figure God would have to really want this for us b/c He'd have to move mountains to make everything work out (getting our house ready to sell & selling it, etc.). Just thought we'd keep you in the loop of our busy day!
